The European Blockchain Convention is Europe's largest gathering for blockchain, crypto, and digital assets, now in its twelfth edition. It expects more than 6,000 attendees and over 300 speakers in Barcelona, with 80 of Europe's top 100 banks reportedly sending people this year. The 2026 edition lands just eleven weeks after the EU's MiCA rules took full effect, so a lot of the programme is aimed at banks, asset managers, and regulators rather than only crypto natives. Expect sessions on stablecoins, tokenised assets, custody, and cross border settlement.
