Oslo Innovation Week is Norway's biggest innovation event, an umbrella festival that spreads dozens of flagship and side events across the city each October. In 2025 it brought together around 15,000 participants from 40 countries, including more than 400 venture capital firms, and the 2026 edition keeps that international, VC heavy focus. Sectors on the agenda include renewable energy, health tech, the circular economy, and ocean technology, reflecting what Oslo's roughly 3,000 startups and scaleups are actually building. A pitch competition with around 100 startups runs as part of the week.
